In May 2004 scannerFM, the first Spanish online radio specializing in music starts broadcasting.
The music venues, the magazines, the festivals, record labels, DJs, musicians and friends join the project since the very beginning. In 2005 scannerFM started to broadcast the best music festivals in the country and was awarded an Ondas prize for this reason. It also was the first radio station that broadcasted from a mobile device back in 2006, it has been the official radio of festivals like Sónar and Primavera Sound, and its work has been recognized with awards by the UFI (Unión Fonográfica Independiente) and Mixcloud, among others.
