Ràdio Ciutat Vella was born in 1989 as tool to give the Raval neighbourhood the possibility of denouncing the situation in which one of the most emblematic neighbourhoods of the city, was subjected at that time.
Its creation also served to create the first radio workshop to combat the situation of marginalization in which our neighborhood was under.
Little by little, the radio grew in audience and programming, which is basically made by women and men who do radio on a voluntary basis.
