Gran Vía Radio / Radio Sant Martí FM

"granvíaradio" was born at the end of 1987 as one of the first projects of a new generation of communication professionals and broadcasting from the city of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat through the 91.7 FM under another commercial name in those years. Due to the controversy over the lack of legislation and the closure of stations that occurred in the eighties, it voluntarily closed its doors at the end of 1989. 1999 was the year in which it returned as a non-profit cultural association and made up of professionals in the fields of image and sound, journalism, design, etc. In those years it was dedicated to the creation and production of radio and television programmes, evolving into the community and cultural radio station of the tenth district of Barcelona, known as granvíaradio fm. Today GRANVIARADIO belongs to the AMSC.CAT broadcasting group, the Association of Cultural Media and Services in Local Radio and Television of Catalonia (AMSC), an organization constituted as a non-profit organization that works in the field of local communication and broadcasting, both in sound broadcasting and amateur radio, both spaces linked to the civic and cultural movement and as a local experience of local communication.
