Ràdioactius is a community radio linked to the Poble-sec neighborhood Community Development Plan. It was born in 2016 as a result of a radio workshop organized by Jam Circus Association and La Sesenta y Siete. Currently, Ràdioactius is an autonomous assembly-based collective that aims to promote neighborhood networks to empower citizens through communication.
They make radio shows of diverse content to spread the word about neighborhood projects and problems, trying to reflect cultural diversity with a gender perspective.
In its two years of life, they have organized many workshops dedicated to encouraging neighbors to discover the world of radio and to develop communication skills.
In 2018 they received the Sants Montjuïc District innovation award.
